An interior intervention for a loft in an historic downtown building celebrates dual functions. Doors can become a room partition when open. When closed, the panel components form an ascending graphic that integrates a forced perspective and Art Deco elements in a glowing luminaire, enlivening the entire space. Window sills become seats. Bath shelves, cabinet trim and new granite countertops unite disparate design elements into singular linear play.
